The Knee Clinic is a partnership of specialist knee surgeons and associated disciplines. The conditions treated range across the whole spectrum of knee ailments: from sports knee injuries to knee arthritis, from arthroscopy (keyhole surgery) and ligament reconstruction to knee replacement. A full complement of modern treatments is offered.

The Knee Clinic is a group of professional people united by their area of expertise and interest. The Knee Clinic does not operate from one geographical base, but works out of a number of private hospitals. However, there is a common philosophy and aim throughout: to provide a highly specialised treatment service for knee problems. These include keyhole knee surgery, knee replacement, knee arthritis treatment, knee osteoarthritis, knee resurfacing, keyhole knee surgery, mini-incision knee replacement, partial knee replacement, mobile bearing total knee replacement, unicompartmental knee replacement ligament reconstruction and knee cartilage surgery.

The Knee Clinic was founded and is led by Dr. Neeraj Adkar. He works in association with musculo-skeletal physicians, physiotherapists and other professionals to provide a holistic approach for all knee conditions.

Dr. Neeraj Adkar

Dr. Neeraj Adkar is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in Arthroscopy and Joint replacement surgery.

He is trained in orthopaedics (1997 ? 2003), in Pune and Bangalore. He has obtained his post graduate degree in orthopaedics from National Board of Examinations, New-Delhi. This was followed by fellowship at a leading Joint replacement centre in Ahemdabad and thereafter at speciality Athroscopy centre, at Barcelona (Spain).

He is working as a consultant Joint Replacement surgeon and Arthroscopist in all major hospitals in Pune.

He is heavily involved in the training of orthopaedic surgeons, undergraduate students and has run courses on arthroscopic knee surgery and knee ligament reconstruction.

Dr. Adkar`s interests is in knee surgery particularly sports injuries (from amateur to professional), arthroscopic (keyhole) surgery, ligament reconstruction, arthritis surgery (total and unicompartment knee replacement), tibial osteotomy and patello-femoral (kneecap) resurfacing.
