Lindy Walsh's wholistic approach to skin care was considered unusual and even odd when she created Lindy's Healing Facials more than 18 years ago. Today, however, it is apparent that Lindy is a pioneer in the practice of wholisitc and alternative techniques and philosophies to beauty and skin care.

Suffering from severe acne and getting no help from the "experts, " Lindy became a licensed aesthetician in order to heal her own skin. She then studied food allergies and nutrition and obtained certification in reflexology and kinesiology.

Lindy is dedicated to learning everything about health issues that can impact the skin. She has carefully researched and studied all the products that she has carried over the years, searching for the most effective and for ways to improve the available products. She has studied the wholistic ingredients derived from plants and the earth that can be used in skin care, particularly herbs and aromatherapy. Lindy is dedicated to finding the highest quality ingredients for use in her own line of skin care products.

Because of Lindy's expertise, she is often asked to provide skin care tips to the media. She has been featured in many articles in publications such as Allure, Marie Claire, Self, Vogue and Complete Woman, and has provided skin care tips to the Los Angeles Daily News and London Daily Express. Lindy's Healing Facials was chosen "Best Facials" in the L.A. Weekly's Best of L.A. 2000.

Lindy has made television appearances offering skin care advice on shows including "Simply Style" for cable's The Learning Channel, and was profiled in a feature news story on NBC affiliate, KSBY. *(And I, the writer of this page, have benefitted from Lindy's wisdom and her facials for nearly ten years. Of her many remarkable qualities Lindy's humility and understanding continue to impress me. She truly offers advise and she takes no offense if you decline. She is the living example of her recipe of wholistic, balanced living.)

Lindy was grew up in Beverly Hills, and currently lives in the Los Feliz area of Los Angeles and Rancho Mirage with her husband. She has two grown children, Joshua and Jasmin.
