Sunglasses Universe.Com ? is owned and operated by Sunglass Universe, LLC. Our founding members operate a private Opthalmology practice which has been in business since 1982. Their primary goal is patient care. They began to sell sunglasses as a component of their optical operations because many of their patients suffer from diseases such as macular degeneration and cataracts which have been linked to U.V. Light exposure. In 2000 they began selling sunglasses online in order to maintain a much larger selection for their patients in the office and to keep their inventory fresh. The online sunglasses business very quickly took on a life of its own. It has grown into Sunglass Universe, LLC, a sepearate thriving company, and we have sold tens-of-thousands of genuine designer sunglasses online to satisfied customers in all 50 states.
