Dixon Bio Medica was incorporated in March 2000 with its Registered office at Dahisar, Mumbai with the main objective of Manufacturing Protein Powder and Food Supplement. Our target customers comprise of mainly Fitness Centres, Medical Stores, Health Centres, Hospitals, Sports Centres and other such entities. We started out operations in the month of March 2000 and started mainly doing labour jobs for products such as Fibrotin for Bliss chemicals, which are used by Gynaecologist, doctors and other members of the medical fraternity. Bolstered by our success in this division our company started manufacturing products from April 2002 and because of which our turnover increased from 7.24 lacs in April 2002 to 20lacs by Jan 2003. This incredible achievement has happened mainly due to the dedication of our workforce and the timely cooperation received from our customers.Our company has well established quality control systems in place which ensure that only a flawless product emerges out of the production process. Every step in the supply chain from procurement to final delivery of the product is supervised by a team of experts. They follow a zero tolerance policy when it comes to selecting the best quality raw material and if any errors occur during the production process, they are immediately rectified. These initiatives are taken with one objective in mind that the customer gets no reason to complain. We at Dixon Bio- Medica believe that only after taking such stringent steps will we be able to maintain our standards of excellence.Our company has a fully computerized order booking and billing set up and has a separate department to cater to the maintenance of stocks and collection from customers along with their timely delivery. Our well equipped machinery has given us the technological edge to produce superior quality products which are better than those of our competitors. At present the company manufactures products which cater to the need of sportsmen, body builders etc but now after analyzing the need of the market and the growth potential that exists in this segment it plans to double its production capacity.We have very ambitious growth plans in the future and one of them is to import raw materials for reducing costs and is exploring the possibility of spinning off another Export Division. The other is to launch a new product such as Di-fit Powder (sugar free) used mainly for the diabetic patient and is a syrup variant of VIPRAX. This initiative, it is hoped, will help boost the turnover and profitability of the company in the near future.
