The Company, popularly known as TIL, is one of the leading manufacturers of various types of Pharmaceutical formulations. The vital therapeutic range includes nutritional supplements, haematinics, hepatoprotectives, novel antipyretic, an unique G.I.Lavage preparation, Anti-Ulcerant, Osteoporotic Formula, Respiratory Medicine, etc. The Company?s business is operated through three Business Divisions namely, Domestic Health Care formulations business, the Tilcare Division and the Overseas Division catering to International markets with a total turnover of over Rs.850 million annually.
The Company has a licence agreement with the erstwhile Japanese Multinational Roussel Morishita Co. Ltd., -(Since 1971) a subsidiary of the World?s leaders in amino acids - Ajinomoto Corporation Ltd., of JAPAN to manufacture and market Amino acids formulations in India. The Company ROUSSEL MORISHITA CO. LTD., has now merged with one of the World?s leaders in ?Pharmaceutical Business viz. Hoechst Marion Roussel Ltd. This agreement has given the Company the pre-eminent position of being the pioneers in Amino Acid therapy in India. Besides, the Company has also an arrangement with F. Hoffmann La Roche, Switzerland (Since 1991) for manufacturing and marketing certain life saving products in Anaesthesiology & Gastroenterology. For a novel Antigastritic and direct ulcer healing agent the company has a tie-up with M/s.Kotobuki Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd., Japan (Since 1999).
